Four Panel Philosophy

Stupid Cows

In this comic, the words of Snoopy illustrate a very good point; like Snoopy, we often judge, even condemn people, for doing the very things we ourselves do. Snoopy calls cows stupid for standing in the rain, yet he does, the very thing he calls them stupid for doing. Often I get so angry and so bitter for things other people do, yet I turn right around and do those very things myself. The reality of the Christian life is that, we are all stupid people standing outside in the rain. Instead of condemning one another, we ought to encourage each other, because we are in the rain together. That does not mean we should not hold each other accountable, but what it does mean is that it is God’s place, not ours, to convict people. The next time you are judging someone, in your mind or in your voice, just remember, you can be just as stupid too.  At least that is the case for me.
