All Delighted People. . .

Throughout my life I have obtained few physical injuries, at least never anything to render me at a disadvantage for movement. Sometimes I wonder if that balance was compensated with the amount of mental injuries I have received. The ankle is a very small faction in the overall composure of our bodies. Recently my ankle has received a very minor yet painful injury. Because of said injury my entire body has had to adjust and cater to the ailment. Continuing on the topic of my ankle, I might as well use it as an example. Had I ignored the injury I would have had to continue functioning in pain.  Ignoring the problem does not make it go away. Persistent ignorance to the problem can result in further damage. Compare that to our spiritual bodies. Mentally and spiritually there are many ways for us to be hurt.  Whether thrust upon us by ourselves or even the hurts of others,  figurative damage can impact us just as much as literal. We are not intended to carry the weight on our own.  We have to first recognize and deal with the problem before recovery can take place. God wants to be our crutch, but unless we are willing to identify what we need a crutch for, there is nothing He can do for us. Being in tune with who we are will help us show others how to grasp those same truths. On a larger scale not only  does keeping our spiritual bodies in check contribute to our walks with God, but also the believers around us.
