Snow…Hey Oh….

In all the years I have lived in Wisconsin I have never understood why people complain so much about the snow. It is almost as if they have been fashioned to complain about things for so long it becomes what most overused sentiments do, numb cliches. Why do you hate the snow? Well……I don’t know I just do. No matter where you live most places are vulnerable to winter. If it has to be cold why not have something that has a cheery appearance to it? Not only that a lot of places clear the snow and ice on roads within a day, leaving no hazardous value either. When thought about the snow is certainly miles more pleasant than what rain is. Whenever it rains a fain gloom hangs in the sky while leaving you drenched attempting to navigate through it. As with anything if it is not avoidable why not embrace it. Come to mention it that is applicable to a lot of circumstances and situations. Bad days, news, weather, experiences, dates, jobs, tasks, out of each and everything we face in our lives often if we look hard enough there is some redeemable quality of aspect to it. Unfortunately more often than not we are not willing to put forth the effort to find those things. Upon coming into these things, when you are down and out, just see what you can learn or take from it, and I guarantee you very well might be surprised, and even have the course of your day altered if only slightly…
